OPERATIONS NOTAMS: Updated 06 AUGUST 08

  • 08-06 - FSAviator has competed server moved. All flight procedures remain the same.
  • 08-05 - Pilots wishing to fly FSA World Cargo Flights are required to purchase licenses via email to Virtual FAA.

  • 08-02 - FSAviator will add 20 Minutes extra of Skycash to your flights to compensate for departure and landing destination taxi time.
  • 08-01 - Callsign " Aviator" is accepted for communication with VATSIM ATC. Example: Initial call out callsign for FSA007 with Atlanta ground.

          (" Ground, Foxtro, Sierra, Alpha, 007 over"), subsequently you can use ("Aviator 007") and VATSIM  ATC will recognize the callsign as FSA.

  • 07-06 - Teamspeak server new IP address ( 69.61.101.92:8041 ), please make the change in your Teamspeak client software.
  • 07-05 - All flight plans must be filed to VATSIM. FSAviators are encourage to file their flight plan with their FSA Callsign.
  • 07-04 - Flights must be greater than 30 minutes to count towards rank and skycash ( not counting taxi time ).
  • 07-03 - Online VATSIM flights,  are the only flights that are counted for credits here at FSAviator.
  • 07-02 - FSAviators wanting to fly with no  ATC can fly in areas not cover by any controllers in VATSIM.
  • 07-01 - Check the VATSIM goggle earth or ServInfo software to find out what areas are currently under or not under ATC Control. This will help with your flight planning.

FSAviator Teamspeak Server - Find out who is online and connect to our teamspeak server. (Note: Online Air Traffic comms will be conducted via VATSIM ATC utilities, FSAviator teamspeak server is for internal members comms only. Check out the channels descriptions.

VATSIM - Check their latest internal news, for VATSIM events visit our VATSIM newsfeed. 

VATSIM's Goggle Earth - Requires Goggle Earth, installed in your system. Checkout the VATSIM skies, find out what areas of the world have ATC coverage and what skies are more active. Members can also visit the hangar and download programs like VATSPY and Servinfo to look at the same type of data

File your Flight Plan - Fsaviators may file their flight plan directly to VATSIM using SIMROUTE, VATSIM's website or using their favorite online flight software such as Squawkbox or FSInn to summit their flight plan.

Note: Remember that fsaviator will use your VATAWARE information to track your flight hours. In the event that VATAWARE did not transfer your flights, fsaviators can summit hours my email to admin team. We can cross reference the  flights in VATSIM statistics.

Connect Online - FSAviator is a proud member of VATSIM. We conduct all of our online flights through it's network. VATSIM provides the best state of the art online flight sim network and online ATC support. FSAviators connect to VATSIM network using online utility programs such as Squawkbox or FSInn.

FSAviators may visit the Members Hangar area for any additional software.
